Liked: Room 441, pros: nice and clean, unique setup. Cons: 1) main bed was uncomfortable so I switched to the single bed. 2) There was an annoying whistling sound all night long when the air blew thru the floor vents. 3) The main bed’s top blanket was very heavy, but removing it left just a thin blanket on top of the sheet. 4) casting from a cell phone to the TV never worked, called for help, was told it appeared to be an issue for the entire property.

Liked: The rooms were exceptionally clean. Beds are comfortable, pillows are comfortable. View of lake superior from our room and hearing the sounds of the lake at night was great. The staff at the front lobby was extremely helpful and very friendly. The location to explore up north is great. It was too cold for us, but they have great seating for outdoor fires and beautiful views of the lake. Complimentary amenities like snow shoe is great!
Disliked: We booked this place to also enjoy the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. That to us was a disappointment. The pool was very small, not big enough to swim laps. Jacuzzi was not warm at all. The sauna did not heat up enough... we turned it on, used the swimming pool and jacuzzi for an hour in hopes that it would be hot enough and it still wasn't hot enough. Also I missed a clock in the sauna to keep track how long you are in it, and I missed a thermometer to track how warm it truly was.The restaurant; food was great, drinks were great and good price. The service was terrible. Our waitress did not asked if we wanted more water. When we finished our main course, she grabbed the plates, did not ask if we wanted another drink nor desert and brought us the bill right away. Mind you, we were there early, it wasn't that we would not have enough time to order anything because they would close. She could have offered us more water, more drinks and if we wanted a dessert. And we did wanted all of that. Because she brought us the bill, we did not even want to stay longer due to the bad service. For that reason would not eat here again, although the food was great.

Liked: The room and setting were incredible. The bed was too firm for me though. I loved the view and hearing the waves. The weakest part was the food. I got the royal burger and it was mediocre at best. The side salad was good and the atmosphere and music were nice. CC I enjoyed my stay.
