Disappointing, from the outside promised...

Liked: From the outside the property is very impressive. The car park to the side has ample space.
Disliked: It was clear from the offset that the hotel is being run on a shoe string. Although very impressive from the outside and the reception area, once you get behind the facade you can see the cracks. Our room was very small you just about got the double bed in and a small table with a tv in the wall. The kettle and tea and coffee were okay. However the lock on the main door didn’t work, the air conditioner was partially working. The lock on the bathroom door didn’t work either. When we pulled the covers back on the bed to go to sleep there was a false eyelash in it (neither myself or my husband wear them). The shower heads were rusty orange and unclean. It has to be the first time I haven’t showered in a hotel before leaving. The breakfast was disgustingly disappointing with hot dog sausages over cooked eggs and beans that tasted like they had sugar on them. The orange drink was not juice but tasted sweet and artificial like a cheep Sunnydelight in very dirty containers, and they only provided and kettle and with the same set up for drinks as in the room. We complained to reception who just said he would pass it on, but to be honest he wasn’t interested.
