The hotel is well kept, bright and pleasant. The room cleaning staff were very efficient and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overpriced and unsanitary room

Disliked: When we entered the room, it immediately smelled musty. Upon opening the washroom door, we were hit with a strong odor of urine. I called the front desk to request a room change, but was told the hotel was fully booked. Instead, they sent someone to clean the bathroom, where they found urine stains—clearly indicating the room had not been properly cleaned.The linens had red stains, and to our surprise, when my child was playing behind the curtain, we noticed a section of wallpaper was ripped off, revealing visible mold. On top of that, the fridge wasn’t working, and neither was the safety deposit box.I honestly don’t understand how they can charge nearly $700 for two nights in a room in such unacceptable condition. This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had, and it sadly left a very poor impression on what was supposed to be a memorable first trip to Vancouver.
