Excellent experience

The property itself was fabulous....

Liked: Beautiful location! Great front porch facing the water with rockers and swings. Great pool area with loungers and towels. Jacuzzi. Nice lounge area with couches and firepit. The inside of the lodge was very cozy!
Disliked: The 1/2 cabins were small. Shower was small. It was a very warm day and the room was very warm. Luckily it did cool down at night. There was a fan which was helpful. The dining area was nice with a fabulous view. The food was just ok for dinner and breakfast was very limited. The coffee was terrible!!

Disliked: I know we are dealing with a historical place, which I appreciate. You can barely turn around in the shower. The price is atrocious for the stay

Disliked: The cabin rooms do not have AC, but during our stay it didn't matter since it was in the mid 30's at night!Not sure what it may normally be in the summertime.

Beautiful cabin views for a...

Liked: Gorgeous fire pit and poolside views. Hiking trails all around. Super friendly staff.
Disliked: Shower space was a little tight, and complimentary coffee in the morning could be stronger 😁Not related to the lodge, but the downtown area is extremely expensive, and they only have two grocery stores (convenience stores really) that are super expensive. Pro tip: go grocery shopping before for snacks and food!
