Liked: The biggest thing is I felt safe. I was there visiting my sister in nursing home close to the hotel. It was my second time staying at the Palomino and I will stay there on the next trip.

Liked: There was no breakfast. I left the motel at 8:00AM and the office itself was locked.
Disliked: The checkin person could have been more friendly and less abrupt. The advertised breakfast didn’t exist.

Good value and comfortable motel...

Liked: This family-run motel was great for our two nights' stay in Grand Junction. While the furnishings may have been a little old-fashioned, this did not matter to us - the room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed, and the staff were very helpful. While we found few motels to be very budget-friendly on our 3-week trip, this was one of the better value ones we stayed in.

Liked: The room was clean and cosy. Receptionist was sweet lady.
Disliked: It is motel type of accomodation on the main road. Which is not bad, but I personally dont like that.

Wonderful welcome for a satisfying...

Liked: Impeccably clean. Spotless!Wonderful welcome. Gigantic comfortable bed in tastefully decorated room. Only 5 minute drive to centre of town where it's much calmer and a good range of restaurants.Good place for stopover on way to Denver
Disliked: We missed the opening of the swimming pool! should have come later in the season ;-) There was no breakfast so the price was just a little high compared to similar places. However we had a wonderful breakfast just nextdoor at Randy's Southside Diner.
