Very good

Great stay; will stay here...

Liked: Location good.Room rates including breakfast were very good.Breakfast was excellent.Dinner in 'Chats' bar was very good and reasonably priced. Bottle of wine was good and reasonably priced.Grounds were great as theh allowed us to walk the dog after and before long car journeys.
Disliked: As we booked with a dog it might be useful to have a few dog beds available. We brought dog bedding to go on top of a dog bed (like the hotel we had left) which was laid on the floor for the dog.Overall the hotel was a little warm although the air-conditioning in the room corrected it. However, overall the public rooms were rather warm and stuffy.

Friendly staff, good location.

Liked: Staff lovely, lots of parking, good location. Second pillow provided instantly on request, bar friendly and the flavoured gins definitely worth a go.
Disliked: The rooms don't have enough plugs - there are some weird, non-UK standard plug points and not nearly enough standard 3-pin ones. One pillow as standard, not 2.
