Best of the old and...

Liked: Excellent breakfast buffet. Better price if you buy when you make room reservations. Front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful with directions, etc. Room was quiet and sunny. “Roman baths “ pools built in medieval age stone foundations were amazing.
Disliked: Heat the water in the pools.

A renovation of old building...

Liked: Excellent breakfast buffet but cost was higher than I expected.
Disliked: Rooms are very small - only slightly larger than the double bed- no exaggeration.

Nice hotel, good location. We...

Liked: Charming hotel with interesting history of it's background and location in the old city of Lyon.
Disliked: We had a few ants coming in via the skirting board, however the receptionist provided ant spray which stopped them. We were only staying for one night otherwise we would have changed our room. We were assured that this issue would be solved by some essential maintenance.
