Liked: The breakfast was ok. The coffee was not good. And in the room we found a gift from them and a handwritten thank you card, which is a nice gesture, but unfortunately it couldn't make up for how bad the room was.
Disliked: I booked a room with a panoramic view of the port, more precisely terrace suites with king bed and panoramic view, 394 euros/night..an exorbitant price for what it offers...the room/suite...is an unrenovated room from Napoleon's time...the carpet is so worn that you feel sick to take off your shoes...the curtains and drapes are from the Middle Ages, outdated and faded by the sun. The king size bed is actually 2 single beds close together, the pillows are awful, the mattress is old, not very comfortable, plus on the mattress and pillow there is a plastic cover and you fell it as you were sleeping in a bag. The furniture is old and worn...the windows are extremely dirty. The room is on the 7th floor, a kind of secluded floor...and the panoramic view is half blocked by a roof, which has a chimney...I don't know what the chimney is for but it was working and the smoke entered the room. The bathroom was super old, dirty and unmaintained. The toilet is separated into a small room, so if you are claustrophobic you have no chance of using it. I did a 5 day tour with accommodation in 4/5 star places at the same price range, which were very good, but this one was horror.

Liked: Great location .... and it ends there, unfortunately ....
Disliked: Accor say this is an M Gallery hotel. Its more of an IBIS. The suite was SO SHABBY, coffee stains on the carpet etc. But THE WORST was that it is the top floor/penthouse and the whole hotel's heating system stuck on "heat" until May. So we had no air con, had to sleep with the terrace door open. Bedroom was SO stuffy .... would never stay there again . You get what you pay for .... look elsewhere

Excellent four day break at...

Liked: The view from our room was excellent overlooking the port. Staff were most helpful and nothing was too much trouble
Disliked: The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, but we did not know this until we arrived. But on the whole did not affect our stay.

Liked: Great hotel, perfect location

Superb

Liked: The staff were very friendly and we got a double upgrade and stayed in Chopin suit with a fantastic view.
Disliked: I could see that the hotel has seen better days, for example the carpet could be changed along with the curtains, but we loved the character of the place all the same. After all this is not a chain hotel which are the same independent of where they are.
