Excellent staff and location but...

Liked: The staff were excellent and so friendly and helpful. Great location
Disliked: The photos advertised were nothing like what the room was, the room was not good value for money. It was small and dark, there was a skylight but no window. The bathroom was small and cramped. It is advertised as recently renovated but this section of the hotel, maybe 10 years ago. My friend stayed in the next room and theirs was the same. Should have been significantly cheaper for what it was.

Disliked: The bathroom threw me off - glass walls and no locks it’s extremely off putting and I wouldn’t have booked the place if I’d have known the bathroom was like it. The biggest downside to glass walls for a bathroom meant I could see how little effort went into cleaning the rooms between guests. Disgusting. Not worth $240 for ONE NIGHT. The room smelt musty and there was visible mould in the shower. One of the cups in the room was dirty as well. Found that out when making a tea. And tv didn’t work, noticed a dusty broken cord out of the back. Honestly didn’t want to have to go in and complain to staff at the bar as we only had to sleep there and be out pretty early but not a fan of the place.
