Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus The Hague Scheveningen is located in an authentic monumental building right at the beach of Scheveningen. The beach is a 3 minute walk from the property. WiFi access is available here free of charge. Each of the rooms offer extra-long comfortable bedding and a desk. The private bathroom comes with a contemporary décor. The restaurant serves an extensive breakfast and features views over the North Sea. When the weather allows it it is also possible to enjoy breakfast on the terrace of the hotel. Guests can have a high-tea brunch or coffee while chatting in the conservatory. The restaurant serves classic French-style haute cuisine for dinner with a slight focus on fish and seafood dishes. The Kurhaus Spa & Beauty offers its guests multiple spa facilities upon prior reservation. It has an indoor pool with a view of the beach while the Spa facilities include a Finnish sauna infrared heat cabin steam bath and fine mist shower. The Hague's city center is perfect for shopping and can be reached within 15 minutes. The city also offers cultural activities such as a visit to the Gemeentemuseum and the Mauritshuis.

We spent nice time but...

Liked: The location in front of the beach and helpful reception staff and variety of restaurants around

Liked: Landmark/Historical building.
Disliked: Poorly kept, owners cut on the edges too obviously. We stayed at an executive level, supposedly new, remodeled room with terrace and sea view. View was there only when standing up, next door terrace neighbors were too close. Room was tiny, furniture was all scratched and dated. Same with common grounds, hallways, carpets were very dated and old. Major update, and facelift is needed.

Disliked: Check-in was not on time staff were arrogant spa facilities were not fully working definitely would not go back there again.
