Exceeded our expectations
Liked: It is an amazing place to stay, we were driving from Toronto to Rhode Island. It is a beautiful, easy and sophisticated place—very nice and breakfast. We will definitely return. Air conditioning was not at the top in that room, but the owner immediately reacted to resolve it.

fantastic host, building and gardens.
Liked: the building, the furnishings, the owner and the arrangements.easy access to the adirondacks.
Disliked: there was not a great deal in Herkimer itself.

A great stop on an...
Liked: A neat interior decorated in American colonial style shows the true pride of ownership. The guest room wasn't huge, but that what you'd expect if you chose this style of B&B, which I'm glad I did. The breakfast was hand made by the welcoming host. The host dog Brick appeared ready to play, but we were advised not to respond and just tried to look friendly at a distance.

Excellent Surprise in Herkimer!
Liked: The owner/operator was friendly and helpful. The extra amenities were very nice. Breakfast was delicious.

The host, Mike, was wonderful,...
Liked: I had scrambled eggs and toast and they were both okay. My husband had french toast and bacon and he said they were very good.
Disliked: The room was just adorable but the mattress was kind of old feeling so I was a little uncomfortable. The bathroom shower door on the bottom and the bottom of the shower had a lot of mold.
