Liked: We love the area - stayed several times but I was never so disappointed!!
Disliked: Very disappointed- staff were not very accommodating at the beginning- things in room were broken - no staff at reception when arrived at west-we crossed with our luggage’s -unacceptable to receive clients that way after a long travelling day -and no one was helpfulEveryone looked bothered!! No sense of remorse .. Melissa night manager was helpful after several complaints!! Very disappointed Beach attendants are amazing - so sweet -Ronald and his colleagues !!

Disliked: Hidden fees only explained after check out - valet parking even if you never used valet ($50), resort fees above $300 (which you cant use unless you cross the street and go to main hotel), nonone answers the phone at front desk when one calls from room, not even water service. Disappointing.

Liked: We traveled to Miami to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Upon arrival and after checking in, we immediately noticed that the property we had booked was not what we had seen online, nor was it our intention to book it. The website is a bit misleading, as it shows images of the main Grand Beach Hotel located on the beach, but in reality, you may be booked at the sister property, Surfside West, which is located across the street. Be very careful when booking through a third party.After voicing our concerns, the hotel staff did take the time to explain the situation in detail. However, we never received an apology for the misleading presentation online, only an explanation of what they couldn’t do to make it right, which was a bit frustrating.On a positive note, the rooms were very clean and the balcony access provided a peaceful experience. Even though we were unhappy about the booking confusion, we still had a great stay overall.
Disliked: The lack of accountability from the manager when voicing or concerns.

Liked: Overall, it was a very good hotelAmazing location Good facilities Staff weren't particularly helpfulThey didn't inform us of the facilities, and we found them occasionally and missed the rooftop pool on our buildingWe were on the west side, so we had to cross the busy road to get to the main hotel, and no help was offered with the luggage
