Disappointing

Liked: We arrived extremely late, so we didn’t get a complete look of the property. From what we saw, it looked fairly clean.
Disliked: The TV turned on by itself at 1am, 3am, and 5am, and the alarm clock also turned on randomly during the night. It was nearly impossible to get any rest. We checked in at midnight and got settled in just before the TV turned on the first time. My daughter had to be up just after 5am, so she got no sleep because of the TV issues. When I brought this up to the lady at the front desk, she knew which room I was staying in without me even mentioning it and said other people have brought that issue up. She stated the TV is somehow set on a timer and they can't seem to fix it. Why weren't we notified at checking in? Why wasn't the TV unplugged?The next morning, I noticed a bite on my palm. I showed it to the owner, as she was coincidentally already on the phone with pest control. The pest control guy told her I was bit by a mosquito. Not long after we checked out, I noticed another bite on my finger as well as bites all over my forearm. Upon leaving the parking lot, another guest told me he was bit all over his body and the hotel refunded his stay.Despite these issues, there was no offer of a discount or compensation for the room, just an apology. I was told if I went to the emergency room, my bill would be paid for. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to do that. I expected better from a professional establishment, especially when it comes to health, safety, and sleep quality. I will never return nor recommend this place to anyone.
