Great location and gardens with...

Liked: Lovely hotel gardens. Some staff were superb (bellman, concierge, check in). h
Disliked: The initial room allocated had a shower over the bath and a steep sloping ceiling that encroached on the practical use of the room. We complained and thankfully received a prompt move to something better. That said, the layout of the new room was not ideal either, though a big improvement on the first. Layout was cramped and impractical. Some staff quite surly and blunt - bar staff particularly come to mind. Pool and roof top bar closed throughout our stay.
