Historic Masterpiece

Liked: GORGEOUS! A must see, even if you don’t stay here. The Tiffany ceiling is a masterpiece. The Terraza restaurant really does offer spectacular views of the Zocolo, especially at night. The entire staff from the Doormen, to the waitstaff, to housekeeping are 5 stars! They greeted us with champagne flutes. There was a plate of sweets welcoming me to the hotel in the room. The maids serviced the room each day. The restaurant reserves space for their guests so you can walk in without a reservation. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. It truly is grand!
Disliked: Every time the AC comes on and off, it makes a clanging sound like someone dropped a weight.

Disliked: The road is closed off so very difficult to get to with a taxi and all the luggage

Gorgeous hotel and perfect location

Liked: What a beautiful hotel! Your jaw drops when you enter.Our room was beautiful and comfortable.What really stood out were the bellboys! They are the first impression when you enter the hotel and nothing is too much trouble. So friendly and helpful. Big shoutout to Abraham!
Disliked: The air conditioning in our room was noisy and there is a lot of noise on the street (this is no fault of the hotel, just the location) but at least the noise died down by the time we were ready for bed.
