Liked: The hotel is beautiful architecturally. Rooms were large, the location was amazing and we loved the Terrazza
Disliked: There was a demonstration in the square in front of the hotel. Disappointing but out of the hotel’s control

Great hotel, great staff, bad...

Liked: Amazing staff, very beautiful and clean hotel, and super comfortable rooms.
Disliked: The hotel’s location was not great.During our stay this part of town was completely occupied by some protestors who slept in tent or cardboards. And we had to walk a few blocks every time in the middle of them to get outside their camp and meet our Uber.The existence of protest/homeless camp was not communicated with us earlier and was not shown in the images either.Also in the morning we always woke up with the sound from the people camping outside.

Wonderful stay at the Gran...

Liked: Prime location on the Zócolo and excellent, attentive service. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The rooftop terrace is amazing -- it is worth coming in day time and night time for wonderful city views. They even have a specific photo location on the terrace since the view is so nice.
Disliked: Nothing negative.

Very inconvenient with that protest.

Disliked: Location is very central, but hotel should let the guest know about the protest and block street.we have to walk 4 blocks with our luggage; hotel should provide help.air-condition is not cool enough and stay 72 F Degrees .

Liked: Loved everything about it. Top notch service, wonderful facility. Super comfortable room. Would definitely stay again! Room with a view to Zocalo is definitely worth it!

Liked: We stayed 6 nights at Gran Hotel Ciudad de México with our daughter and absolutely loved everything. Our room overlooking the Zócalo was stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide and tasty selection. The hotel restaurant was also great, offering delicious food and a breathtaking view of the square. It’s also a lovely spot to enjoy a drink, especially at sunset. The staff was really great—friendly, helpful, and professional. The location felt very safe, with plenty of police presence around. Nothing negative to say—a perfect stay!
