Staff need hospitality training

Liked: The resturaunt there is great for breakfast, which is why we decided to try the hotel on our recent stay. I was pleased they were able to accomidate an early check in, but wasnt informed there would be a $50 dollar charge to do so, unless the extra 50 was for my "late check out" (see below). I'll never know as I never got a receipt as no one was at the front desk to check us out.
Disliked: Housekeeping staff were extremely rude and intimidating. We went to the restaurant for breakfast at 945 on the morning we were to check out. The waitress immediately alerted us to about a 30 min wait for food. We ordered right then, and I mentioned that we had not checked out yet, and my only concern was that we make it back to the room to quickly change and get our things out before 11. Waitress checked with the front desk and then assured me that it would be no problem a few minutes late for check out.Well, they should relay that policy to their housekeeping staff. Back to the room at 2 min to 11 to quickly change, and mid way through dressing, there was a knock at the door. The housekeeping lady was firm, stating that check out was at 11 unless I wanted to be charged a second nightI tried to explain about the delay at the restaurant and that we are leaving ASAP, but she didn't seem to understand me, just walked away shaking her head, visibly irritated. I closed the door, went back to finish dressing, and another knock came to the door. Now, two women were at my door asking why I haven't vacated the room. Again, I tried to explain the situation, but they were downright pushy. First rudely pushing her way into the door while stating "what can we do to help you?" (To which I responded you could.let me finish getting dressed) then reminding me that check oub is at 11. Once I explained AGAIN about the delay at the restaurant and that front desk said it would be fine, the second woman changed her story to say i was marked down to stay a second night. Total lie, because if that was the case, she would have adhered to the do not disturb tag I had out.It was a completely unnecessary and aggressive exchange, and a shocking way to treat a paying guest. I was completely out of the room by 11:15 and that included the time wasted for their disruptive behavior, while I was in various states of undress. So ridiculous.

Liked: Close to where we needed to be and walkable to fast food restaurants.
Disliked: Squeaky bathroom door.

Liked: Room was clean and service was good, both reception and cafe
Disliked: Wifi was non existent and air conditioner was extremely loud and didn't work very well

Liked: Great staff, good breakfast. I left my sunglasses there and the staff call me and mailed them to me on my trip.
Disliked: Nothing I didn’t like.
