We had a great time...

Liked: The staff was very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed my coffee every morning and the smiling faces! I also appreciated how close the Hotel was to all the UW campus.

We'll be back!

Liked: As expected, the hotel has tons of character. The staff was awesome and the proximity to the University great. We loved all of the quirkiness. We borrowed the bikes for a few hours which was another nice touch.
Disliked: Could use a deep clean. Floor boards, frames, light fixtures kind of clean.

A fine place to stay...

Liked: Very substantial breakfast burrito -- good value and tasty. Especially pleasant front desk welcome and help with parking and retrieving car.
Disliked: Wish they could have offered salsa with the breakfast burrito. Would have appreciated a microwave in the room.

Would stay again, but a...

Disliked: Restaurant closed at 9pm. Cook that was working was extremely loud and obnoxious. I had to move to the back room to enjoy my drink.There was no Continental Breakfast for Diamond members.The valet parking was $42, but they did not park my car in the hotel's underground garage - everything inside the vehicle was frozen the next morning.

Overpriced and uncomfortable.

Liked: Location, valet parking.
Disliked: Room was much smaller than images suggested, shockingly so for the cost. No counter space in bathroom, and water temperature only ran tepid, not hot.The air-conditioning was so loud it woke us periodically through the night.Hotel added a 10% "service charge" to valet's tip. The rooftop bar closed at 9pm and turned away customers, which is unheard of. Overall a very puzzling, uncomfortable and unpleasant experience.
