GOVERNORS INN HOTEL SACRAMENTO

The location was not that great. The view outside of my window was the McDonalds drive thru. :(. But the staff was very pleasant.

Liked: The rooms and hallways were nice and clean.
Disliked: The landscape maintenance crew was very loud and too early in the morning and was unable to sleep.

Liked: Room was clean, beds were comfortable, air conditioning controlled by thermostat and room was comfortable during heatwave, staff was professional and efficient
Disliked: Bathroom was a lttle dated, but very clean

Great stay for 1 night...

Liked: Room was large and the air conditioning was very good. Had a free breakfast in the morning with lots of choices. Had fresh made waffles, yogurt, juices, cereal, bread, pastries and cold hard-boiled eggs. Beds were comfortable and very quiet. Would recommend again

A Good Place to Stay,...

Liked: The room was clean and very nice, however be prepared for beds that are quite high. Breakfast offered a good selection of foods and even offered a couple of things that I could eat. It was open early for a Sunday morning and the clerk at check-in indicated, since I said I would be leaving early, that if it was not open to come to the desk and they should be able to open it for me to pick up something to go. The parking lot was very well lit.
Disliked: The location is surrounded by the every present Sacramento "unhoused population" so be careful if you miss the turn into the parking lot. Your car gps will bring you back along the back street where the unhoused are actually living well into the streets and not just along the frontage.

Liked: A good priced room in a decent location... Shout out to the woman who ran the continental breakfast in the mornings as she was so pleasant and so accommodating!
