Disliked: Shower was dirty. Hotel is on flight path which I didn’t realise, so was nosey until 11pm and early in the morning, every 5/10 mins

Disliked: The bed was pushed up against the outer wall so when I needed the bathroom in the night I had to climb over my Husband!

Lovely location but fully research...

Liked: The location was perfect for visiting the ExCel. The staff were great. All of them were very friendly and professional. There was plenty of choice at breakfast.
Disliked: The room was very small. No bedside tables so we had to put our cups on the windowsill behind us - not ideal. We didn't realise that there wouldn't be a tv in the room and when we asked about it, we were told that the hotel was a charity and that was why. I didn't see the difference as to why that would matter, presumably cost? The bathroom was so small that had anyone bigger than us stayed, they would have struggled to get in it. We were very unhappy with the price that we paid for the room - we paid via Booking.com £258.00, when I looked at the hotel website our room was £179.00. There were two larger style rooms at £199.00 and £213.00 - still under the price that we paid. I was very unhappy with this and feel that Booking.com should be better than that. It has made me question why I don't just go direct to the hotels now. I liked Booking.com as they cover most hotels as refundable, incase plans change but having checked on the future bookings that I have, the hotels also do that so I shall do a bit more research in future and take my custom where I don't feel as if I've been done.
