Our stay was due to...

Liked: Convenient location, nice grounds.
Disliked: Blinds in bedroom that let too much light in the morning.

Overall it was ok

Liked: The Hotel was ok in terms of nothing I would fault but I would not say special in any way compared to others I have stayed at a similar price.
Disliked: Staff friendliness and helpfulness was mixed which can make not particularly a warming or hospitable experience. In terms of value terms not great as I have stayed at much better standard of hotel with breakfast.

An ok place to sleep...

Liked: The pool and sauna were nice amenities, although it would have been nicer to have access to a hot tub without an extra fee. The dinner was good but a bit pricey.
Disliked: Maybe it was the room we booked, but it was very old and outdated. The main areas of the hotel seemed more modern whereas the room looked as if it had not been updated in over 20 years. There were also a few stairs to access the lift which is quite impractical, especially for those with lots of luggage or mobility issues. The TV was basic and had no capability to stream or cast. The breakfast buffet was just so/so. This property is really talked up and is not as nice as they make it seem.
