Fantastic staff, great food &...

Liked: The hotel is clean and modern and the staff are fantastic. We booked a meal in the adjoining White Pheasant bar & grill which was also exceptional, with a good menu, polite staff, quick service and fair pricing. Ryan, the bar man in the Deer Hunter bar, brilliant, was super attentive and friendly and an absolute asset to the hotel. Later we walked down into Portrush, a short distance away and had a very enjoyable evening. Rooms are modern and clean and have most everything you need for your break on the coast
Disliked: The only unfortunate thing on our return was that our room was above reception and one of the hotel bars near it stayed open to after 3am. I get it, its a hotel bar, but this highlighted the lack of sound proofing in the building as a group of rowdy males shouted non stop, waking us shortly after 1.45am and kept us awake until I believe an operations manager intervened after 3am. This was a real shame because we really loved our visit, but that might be enough to stop us rebooking. It really disrupted what otherwise would have been a 10/10 experience (sorry guys)
