Exceptional

Liked: Overall great experience! Would stay there again!
Disliked: The only issue we had was that the room tended to get too warm. Would be nice if there was air conditioning and we didn’t need to have the window open as there was a bird that flew into our room and then flew back out while we had the windows open.

Liked: Pool and spa were great. Outdoor hot tub excellent. Gardens well maintained
Disliked: We don’t eat in restaurant for dinner due to the poor reviews I read on Tripadvisor. Therefore couldn’t comment on it

Liked: Loved location right on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy big bed and nice touches eg. Snacks and bottled water as well as usual tea and coffee. Lovely bathroom with bath and good shower. Breakfast ok.
Disliked: Noise from occupant in next door room, who was loudly on the phone for nearly 2 hours from 10pm. Reported this to reception next morning and they explained that due to age of hotel there is no sound proofing between rooms. For us this spoilt an otherwise lovely stay. The hotel has obviously spent money on excellent bathrooms and furnishings and if they were to spend on sound proofing it would be money well spent.

Liked: We’ve been here many times. It’s been improved over the years. Lovely sea views and walk to beach. Lovely clean beach with sand, rocks and pebbles.
Disliked: No hot water at the top of the building without running the bath and basin taps for a long time. Once we had hot water for a shower it was perfect.
