Disliked: No breakfast on site which they dont tell you about till you get there...have to book a sister site at the other end of town... No hand sanitizer in room. Entrance door lock to set of rooms was broken...anyone could enter . East beach was closed- also didnt know this till we arrived. ..

Disappointment!

Liked: 2 positives - the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and the view across the golf course to the sea from the Room
Disliked: The hotel was advertised as 4* on your web page - 1st impressions concerned us - the steps and path from car park to reception was poorly maintained ie covered in weeds and grass. On our way to our room we realised this hotel was being refurbished unfortunately not the room we were allocated - it did not come close to their advertised 4* standard especially the shower room whose walls and ceilings were covered in mould. We complained and were offered a room in their Annex - it was adequate but again not 4* and the bathroom was particularly sub-standard. Another concern for us was that the outer door leading into the Annex did not lock and hardly even closed. We found having to travel 1/2 a mile (thank goodness we had a car) to another of their establishments for our evening meal and breakfast not satisfactory. We certainly did not get value for our money.

Fantastic Last Minute Find!

Liked: Booked Last minute as we decided to visit my Daughter who is based there, Hotel has spectacular views across the Golf Course to the West Beach.Breakfast was included in the cost, served in the Conservatory again the Views were fantastic, the Breakfast was excellent, the Restaurant is totally cleaned and sanitised prior to each table being seated, Staff are 1st Class, Food 5*We ate dinner on Friday evening in the Restaurant and it didn't disappoint, selection of food was great!

Liked: Beds very comfortable, staff friendly BUT due to the restrictions, staff never told me that I would need to book a table for evening meal, which resulted in having to eat outwith the hotel, which was a shame as the lunch was lovely. Arrived back to my room to find that the lights did not work????they were awaiting bulbs! Offered to move myself and my dog to another room but as we were just staying the 1 night i did'nt see the point. I think as my travelling partner was my dog, they placed us in a room that definately needed a bit of tlc and hoped I would'nt notice? Definately not pet friendly
