Sleepless nights

Liked: Friendly staff on arrival. The 2 bedroom apartment was a good size. All tiled floors. No carpet. Very few others around. The linen etc was clean and rooms were clean. Nice TV. Large dining table. The single beds were comfortable.Cute little front and back balcony seating.
Disliked: I'm incredibly tired after 2 nights here. Barely slept. The double bed was very old and every spring made a noise when you moved. It was very uncomfortable.Also take note this place is on the side of the freeway. The noise of big trucks throughout the night was significant in the room closest to the freeway. Bring earplugs/ white noise machine.There is dirt along the corners of bathroom which I would say just comes with a much older building rather than not from it not being cleaned. The bedroom cupboards were musty from the humidity and lack of fans to move some air around. Really need some dehumudifiers, fans or removal of the wooden wardrobes.No restaurants/shops in walking distance so you must drive.Given the above, the prices were too high for this location. I would not stay here again.

Liked: Room: When we first arrived there, turned the light on and there was a big cockroach on the wall near the door.Bed: so soft. My back ached for the 3 days we were there.Bathroom: on Day 2 we asked both the cleaners and reception for the clean towels on our way out, but didn't get them, so both my husband and I could only have 1 show in the 3 nights we were there.
Disliked: The bed, the cockroach, not being able to shower for 2 days

Overall the place is great...

Liked: Great little spot, close to the mall and other surrounding shops, Free wifi, lots of free parking spaces and Pet friendly!. Short walk from the lake for fishing or a swim.
Disliked: The curtains on the windows don't cover the full window. The beds aren't the softest.
