Liked: View of the garden from our bedroom was spectacular. The breakfast was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very helpful. Loved the history of the house too. All in all a wonderful stay.

Would recommend without doubt

Liked: Breakfast was superb, Hotel and Grounds absolutely stunning. Staff very polite and attentive. Rooms very clean and large, bathroom was spotless.

Enjoyable stay in luxurious hotel...

Liked: Fabulous hotel in beautiful setting in centre of picturesque village. Public areas were impressive & very comfortable. Dinner was outstanding as was the breakfast.

Beautiful place to stay, come...

Liked: Grounds were beautiful, our room was very nice - better than expected, breakfast was nice, liked having access to outside and inside area of the hotel in the evening as well as the bar
Disliked: we knew there was no formal dinner, but didn't realize there was no food at all in hotel in the evening and wasn't anything walkable. We didn't see any prices on bar drinks until we checked out.

Great hotel!

Liked: Bathroom spec was very high. Staff were welcoming. We spoke with the owner and were inspired by his story behind Goldsborough Hall.
Disliked: Bed was not sturdy enough.
