I would not stay here...

Liked: The rooms said they were newly remodeled, however they were not. The bathroom was gross and the beds were not confortable.

Has potential but not there...

Liked: Like the location. The staff was very welcoming and in recognition of our 50 anniversary stay, moved us to a corner suite. This was very much appreciated! However, they hotel is deep in construction activity. Hotel has the potential to be very nice, but not there yet.
Disliked: I felt the description of the room, as well as the state or construction and remodel of the rooms was misleading. All the information I was able to gather stated the room remodels would be completed in Spring of 2025, well before our arrival. Upon going to the floor our room was located, in the main tower, nothing had been done to remove the old and seriously outdated decor from the Hardrock hotel days! This included the room, an end suite style room. The room was still Hardrock decor. Carpet was badly torn, refrigerator did not fit in cabinet, just sitting in front of hole for mounting. The furniture felt like leftovers with no sense of balance. There was a roller office style chair at the "sort of" desk. And one sitting chair. No table where two people could sit and have coffee or a meal at. No coffee table in front of the couch to enjoy the lovely view from. Sliding doors were seriously binding and required considerable effort to open, which was necessary as the room temperature at check in was 78F and the air-conditioning is antiquated it simply blows air over cold water pipes! They know they have an issue with the AC as the room had placard on the wall stating there was no way to adjust the room temperature...As for the property amendments, there was no mention in the booking that the resort pool was going to be closed for the season (big disappointment). Construction crews were working at the hotel drive-in entrance and there were construction walls closing off the entire eastern side of the resort for construction of a new restaurant. We were told by the bellman the lower tower was the first for renovation, but it was clear the main tower is a significant work in progress.I just felt the hotel website was misleading in the state of the rooms and resort. I understand construction delays can happen, but they are not updating the state of the resort and lack of key amenities on their website.

Liked: The hotel was nice as we stayed in one of the new rooms. Nothing special.
Disliked: The staff wasn’t really helpful checking in. I think I woke her up. The casino really was old. Didn’t have many newer games.
