Golden Lion Hotel

The owner/hostess was friendly and helpful; the hotel was spotlessly clean; the pub is quaint with a nice atmosphere and the breakfast was excellent.

Liked: Cleanliness; hostess; breakfast.
Disliked: Rooms could be a bit more spacious but minor issue for one night.

Liked: The welcome was lovely and the staff were all really friendly. The evening meal was lovely - presented well, hot and tasty. The room was fine, and the bedding smelt really fresh which was nice. Good car park space too and a convenient location.
Disliked: The WiFi was appalling, even when I asked for the router to be re-booted, it still didn’t work.

Liked: Really nice and friendly hotel in a lovely village - The food was very good with a strong wine list as well - Room was clean spacious and comfortable
Disliked: For my purposes (solo business traveller) I would have liked a more comfortable 'lounging' area to read and have a drink in within the pub/restaurant - It was set up more for dining but this was a very minor issue in a very enjoyable stay
