Exceptional

Liked: Nice Pub with live music every night. Very friendly and helpful staff. Atmospheric but still fully kitted out room with everything you need. Very Impressed with the whole package.

Don't just consider this place...

Liked: Second time staying at the golden fleece, staff are friendly food and drinks are great and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Position in the city is great, just a short walk to all major attractions.
Disliked: Literally all I could mark it down for is that our toilet seat was very wobbly. I'm sure if I had mentioned it at the time it would have been dealt with.

What an incredibley, fascinating, beautiful,...

Liked: The property is incredible, filled with history and of course deemed the most haunted in York .. we stayed in the minster suite where the ww2 airman jumped or fell!! Stay if you dare and see if your experience was as encountering as ours!! Amazing we now need to stay in the other four rooms !!

Liked: Everything you could of asked for, clean, great location, friendly staff, good choice of drinks nice food. Not overly priced. Looks dated but room was freshly decorated and kept to old theme. No fault with our stay. Loved it.
Disliked: No dislikes with our stay

Liked: Location good, nice breakfast, room and bathroom fabulous, all very clean. Staff friendly.
Disliked: The only negative was that the evening meal we had was cold. With hindsight we should of sent it back. Seemed to take ages to cook so maybe it had been left and someone forgot to bring it to us straightaway.
