Liked: The bed, although lumpy and no mattress topper, was more comfy than the one we previously had. The bathroom was clean and the shower had amazing pressure
Disliked: Noisy, tv was stuffed and had minimal selection. No rubbish bin, 3 knives and 1 fork so making coffee was difficult. No where to sit except the bed, remote wouldn’t work until batteries were changed and even then it was sporadic. I got it at a cheap rate because of my membership but the normal price of $170 would be far too much for this pokey little room. Have stayed in much nicer for the same or less amount of money in the last 12 months.

Liked: Good location with simple rooms with everything we needed.
Disliked: Only issue was some of the other occupants, but that’s nothing to do with the Gold Coast inn itself. Great place would 100% return if we come back to the Gold Coast

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: Room was tiny as a bigger person I couldn't even fit on the toilet properly.. I didn't like having to pay then leaving a deposit aswell. That deposit still hasn't gone back into my bank. And I had something roll under the bed to find a bunch of rubbish under there that I ended up picking up myself. I didn't like the bo fan in the bathroom aswell as the toilet paper went soggy with the humidity.. the step into the bathroom almost tripped me because I didn't see it. Coloured strip's might help.

Disliked: i didn’t like that the sheets weren’t clean the blanket had stains all over them. there was an aircon but there was no aircon remote so i paid for a service i could not use there was also cockroaches all threw the place absolutely disgusting and the smell of smoke coming from the other units was unbareable

Frustrating communication, good location

Liked: Good location
Disliked: All communication with this venue is by email which is VERY difficult when you're on a motorcycle trip. The property is unattended.

Cozy room close to amenities

Liked: Beds were comfortable. Had teabags/coffee etc. Two hair dryers. Nice hot shower and literally right across from the tram. Loved that it had both an air-conditioned + an unsuited. The only fault with the place was the toilet did smell like male urine. In which I'm sure management will use my feedback to be more attentive of disinfecting that in the future. I found management really communicative and polite and very reasonable with refunding after I had changed my mind about the late check out + also getting the room early. They did get it ready early as I requested but unfortunately I did not recieve their message on time to check in early. It was nice that they refunded that money. I was quiet satisfied with that result. Thanks for having me. I am keen to stay again

Liked: Only the location
Disliked: Everything was bad. The bathroom had no fan and the shower door was had massive cracks. The floor and tables needed to be cleaned. All of the cutlery had burns on them (no doubt from drugs) needs to be replaced. There was no security door unlike every other room only a glass door.
