Liked: Loved that l can take my wee dog with me , staff were lovely, food was great.
Disliked: A lot of stairs.

Disliked: Taped carpets in the hallway dust on radiators in the room and flaking paint from windows on the window ledge. The stairlift metal rails were needing cleaned. Breakfast was average nothing special.

Liked: I was staying for a private family dinner. The staff were attentive at the dinner and tried their best.
Disliked: Nothing. The place needs investment.

Liked: Plenty of parking and a good location—those were the main highlights. The price was also reasonable, so I wasn’t expecting luxury, but still came away underwhelmed.
Disliked: Check-in took longer than expected, stood waiting for several minutes before anyone showed up. When someone finally did, there was no welcome or greeting, even though I made the effort to ask how they were. The interaction felt cold and distant.The key ring for the room was unnecessarily large and awkward, just an inconvenience when you're trying to carry it around during the day.I was also surprised that the hotel physically took my credit card to copy details onto their system for "security." I understand the need for a card on file, but in 2025, surely we can use chip and pin or a secure terminal? It felt outdated and a bit sketchy.The room looked modern at a glance, but had a definite DIY-SOS vibe on closer inspection functional, but cheaply done. And my biggest frustration: the bed. It was two singles pushed together, which made for a very uncomfortable sleep.

I will stay again.
