This hotel is a green oasis in the heart of Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district. GLS Studio Hotel Berlin offers complimentary WiFi in all areas. Alexanderplatz is just 1.2 mi from the property and the ICC Conference Center Berlin is 2.5 mi away. The two hotel buildings and large courtyard garden are quietly located facing away from the road. The accommodations lies within the 30 ft² campus of the GLS language school. The studio apartments offer a loft-style character as they have been converted from classrooms. All studios include a fully equipped kitchenette. Located in a colorful going out area there are numerous shops bars and restaurants right outside your door. The M1 Tram stops in front of the hotel entrance and will take guests to the famous Rosenthaler Platz which is just 0.6 mi from the property or Hackescher Markt which is 1.2 mi away.

Best place to stay in...

Liked: Location. Quiet - way away from any street noise. Lots of open space in large courtyards with ping pong tables and picnic tables and areas to relax in both inside and outside. Great staff. Perfectly clean. Laundry room but you need to download an app to use it. Coffee machine in lobby. Great big towels. Location can’t be beat
Disliked: Didn’t bother us but if you have a problem with your beds being upstairs and in loft with low ceiling then rethink GLS.

Good

Liked: Very good location, easy access to tram and u bahn. A serene garden and spacious rooms, loved the ceiling height.
Disliked: The bed and pillow were very uncomfortable unfortunately. Too soft for my taste, woke up multiple times at night.

Amazing, my favorite place to...

Liked: Spacious room, in the middle of the city, very clean... it exceeded my expectations!!!
Disliked: I sweated a lot on bed, not sure if there was a mattress cover that did not transpirate or what was the reason... no alternative thiner later on top available unfortunately.
