Good

Liked: Great location, good parking
Disliked: No lifts. We had to drag our heavy suitcases quite a way up some stairs, then down and down, my poor hubby. Hindsight is a great thing, should have repacked into smaller bags. Learned the hard way. No air con, it appeared that heating was on in the hallways. This was during hot summer so I found it uncomfortable. At least there was a fan which was a godsend.

Liked: Lovely hotel, room was very spacious and clean. Had a lovely meal in the bar. Breakfast was good, great selection. Would come back and stay again

Great last minute stay over!

Liked: Lovely first impression entering the hotel. The restaurant/ bar area is really nice and the food was lovely (in particular the beef & mushroom wellington with mash and gravy!)We had a suite and it was a lot bigger than expected, 2 adjoining rooms giving us plenty of space. The beds and pillows were very comfy, coffee machine, mini fridge and kettle provided along with plenty of mugs / glasses and water and crisps left which was a nice touch.
Disliked: The shower was very hot? There was a warning re this. Not sure if it was me but I couldn’t turn the temperature down? The pool area was ok but was dated and the bridge leading to the hot tub in the middle smelt of damp, kids enjoyed it though and it’s not a big deal for us as we just wanted a cheap stay on our journey down south. Over all we would stay again!

Liked: Always been coming here to rest from my health but not happy this time
Disliked: No charging points in room windows were dirty bath had water in it not disabled friendly had to ask for towels as there were 4 of us there were three disabled persons in my party 2 children and myself no help with wheelchair from staff up and down stairs.

Bit dated and too hot...

Disliked: We were happy with the service and would definitely recommend it. It would have been nice if the room had a fridge and bed could be more comfier.
