Comfortable clean and great food...
Liked: Clean and quiet with fabulous food (roast) and great service . Comfortable beds. Polite and amusing staff . Really cheerful experience. A lovely night away. Staff really seem to care about service which makes a real change.
Disliked: Couldn’t fault it actually.

A comfortable stay
Liked: Check in and service faultless. We were out very late and the front desk was manned until we returned. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We would stay here again.
Disliked: Decor was a little dated and our bed was too soft for our liking, but that’s just our opinion.

Good hotel , could improve...
Liked: Room and hotel was great, breakfast including service good.
Disliked: Wrong room allocated on check in, double instead of twin , went back down and was told told that we were allocated a double as I only booked for one person, which was strange as I booked a twin room for my friend and I.We were then allocated a twin room but told I would have to pay £20 extra for breakfast. Checked my booking on booking.com and indeed I had correctly booked for 2 persons twin room and paid correct price. On way out informed the receptionist (male) , who said Ok but asked if I could send email showing my booking, I showed him on my phone that it confirmed 2 people. No apology received, surely he could have checked booking.com. His customer service was bad, shame about his attitude as other aspects were good.

Comfortable, friendly hotel. Would recommend.
Liked: Friendly welcome, food in restaurant was superb and had a great night's sleep! Bed was comfortable and room very quiet and light-proofed.
Disliked: Shower could have been slightly hotter and more powerful and toiletries very basic.
