Lovely comfortable stay

Liked: I loved the personal and adaptable touch from the team. It was a quiet period for the hotel and I sat in the lounge before dinner where the lady in charge put the fire on just for me and made me feel really comfortable and well looked after. I even had my dinner next to the fire rather than sitting alone in the dining room, it was a very lovely touch and one I will always remember. Thank you.

Liked: A perfectly acceptable dinner, breakfast, and room. Very obliging staff generally, and they were more than helpful in sorting out a better room for access by our elderly dog (initially we were on the second floor)The bar lady/waitress was excellent as well
Disliked: A moment of rudeness from one particular member of staff was a slight blip, but we were prepared to overlook that, as the rest of the stay was good

Liked: Fantastic food, friendly staff, a lovely room and even a full sized snooker table. What more could you ask for
Disliked: Low water pressure in shower, but this is being changed as we speak.

Disliked: Hot water issues so showering wasnt an option on the top floor, room shouldnt have been offered without instant hot water. No hand soap.

Wonderful stay

Liked: Bedroom was wonderful. Lounge and bar areas also superb.
Disliked: Leisure facilities need attention but I'm sure the new owner has it in hand.
