Stayed one night so we could see a band at the Foundry. Perfect location, about 20 minute walk from the venue. Nice spacious room; really clean and comfortable. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We were given a fresh pot of tea and some lemon cake on our arrival, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was fabulous! This hotel will be our first choice next time we are in Torquay to see a band!

Liked: Our room was a great big size, nice decor, comfy and clean with nice views. Great facilities with herbal teas etc. The owners are lovely and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Parked easily at the front. Would totally recommend.

Family run, clean comfortable hotel....

Liked: Friendly owner, very personal and helpful. Clean and well presented rooms.No problem with parking. Up a hill so if you are infirm you will need a car.

Liked: Our hosts made us very welcome. The cups of tea after a long journey, was a nice touch, very welcome and gave us a chance to chat to Ian, the owner. My wife needed a room on the ground floor and we were grateful and surprised to get an instant upgrade!!.Ian couldn't do enough for us. Cold water and fresh milk for tea, along with tea and coffee in the room.The rooms are large with en suite bathroom. The breakfast is varied, with daily specials, unheard of on our travels around Europe and here at home.I thought honesty bars were a thing of the past, however, the restaurant/lounge area had a good selection of drinks to choose from on this basis. . We will be back in September, and would recommend this gem on the South of England riviera.

Excellent Breakfast great value stay.

Liked: Location was great just a 15 minute walk into town,was able to check in early which was great,free parking which is always welcome, it was very hot and was offered cold bottled water and there was a tower fan in the bedroom which was a great touch The breakfast was excellent and it was very good value for money.Janette and Ian were friendly and professional.
Disliked: Nothing not to like.
