Very clean and comfortable hotel.

Liked: Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great location. Staff very friendly. Would stay there again.

Liked: Lovely bedroom and huge bathroom. What ruined both nights was disturbance from floor above all night with someone walking around/opening drawers. The man on reception said he would mention to guests on second floor, but exactly the same sleep deprivation second night. (It is possible man did not understand English too well).

Disliked: The second room I was offered after complaint was little better than the first.Cleanliness was extremely poor, though bedding and towels were clean, and the actual area you would walk on the carpet was clean.Furniture was all tired, worn or brokenDecor was aged, stained and datedMaintenance appears to be non existent and safety standards questionable, with multiple socket extension leads daisy chained.The bathroom was akin to what you would find in the cabin on a ferry. It is a plastic 'pod' with shower toilet and basin, sized for a single person, not large enough to undress in there.Noise from the neighbouring rooms was 'clear'Room security was questionable. Very worn and poorly fitted two lever mortice locks with my door handle secured with a single screw.I caught sight of a daily staff checklist, which had an item for 'clean bedrooms', perhaps it should be at a more detailed level.

Liked: We really enjoyed the stay in the nice spacious room with double bed which had a fridge and microwave. Our host, Rob, was very helpful and served us breakfast in the morning, I truly recommend this hotel!
