Liked: Lovely large quirky room with kettle tea & coffeeBreakfast was amazing
Disliked: Couldn’t get any hot water in the shower The room was literally in the attic & up a spiral staircase. Little bit awkward to manoeuvre & I was pleased we didn’t have a suitcase to take up!!

Excellent host in an excellent...

Liked: Lovely decorated house with nice beds and bedding. The breakfast was great. Our host, Ian, was great and helped us out on our last day which we really appreciated. It’s a 10 minute walk to the centre of Windermere and 10 mins to Bowness on Windermere, loads of restaurants each way.

Beautiful house in a great...

Liked: lovely property with a beautiful lounge, well set out and immaculate dining area, and a very good breakfast. The host Ian was very friendly and helpful too.

Disliked: If you stay in room 4or5 you must walk up a spiral staircase it's scary if you are elderly on please take note.

Liked: Checkin was easy n simple , the host seems welcoming, there was parking space, it's walkable to city centre as well as the lake. Breakfast was good. Rooms are neat n clean, the lounge area seems amazingly
Disliked: The showers had no provision to keep amenities such as shampoo, shower gel... as well as the pumps of the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel were not working so needed to bend down again n again to open the cap n pour it directly so it was v inconvenient . Standard bedroom seems small , dustbin ,mini fridge together due to space constraint., no bathmat for the showers for the water that leaks out after shower.
