Liked: Good location and Good Breakfast

Very over priced. We paid...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: In need of repair. Stained bed sheet. Mould on window frames. Damp in cupboard. Chipped paintwork. The list goes on.

Classic country hotel

Liked: The hotel had good parking, great food and super staff. The location provided a good selection of walks and trips to local shops
Disliked: Nothing to complain about, but perhaps in the future some car charging points.

Needs updating.

Liked: Lovely location interesting old building. Staff were wonderful.
Disliked: Our room has seen better days and needs refurbishment. Bath tap stuck 'on' and had to call for assistance. Smell from kitchen below. Breakfast is waiter service so you have to order and wait.

Exceptional

Liked: A beautiful house-hotel overlooking at the garden. Lovely staff.
Disliked: They can easily provide a lamp on the bedside table.

Gorgeous setting but facilities need...

Liked: Gorgeous location and exterior. Fantastic staff.
Disliked: The rooms and facilities feel horrendously dated. 1 night costs more than a hotel in central London and yet rooms have date equipment such as irons with burn marks and no air con. Shower temperature seems to be hit and miss with changing temps again suggesting an older system

Disliked: Four poster bed was uncomfortable, springs kept creaking. Pillows had no substance.
