Exceptional

Liked: They took great care of us. Very helpful staff. Really cool vibe and decor, especially if you’re into the haunted hotel thing. Great alternative to pricier hotels in Ojai and Ventura if you don’t mind a little drive.
Disliked: Continental breakfast or breakfast options would be nice, but the free coffee and ice water is appreciated.

Liked: This dated Inn was a page out of history. It was definitely a romantic getaway for my wife and I.
Disliked: Some areas could use some maintenance and upkeep.

Great historic hotel.

Liked: It was an historic building with a lot of charm. A lot of old furniture that was fun to look at. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The beds were a bit too soft for me.

Liked: Quaint best describes our stay. Comfortable and quiet. A little difficult for folks with mobility issues. No elevator! Make sure to book ahead and ask for ground floor if you struggle with stairs.
Disliked: Plumbing was a bit antiquated. Inexplicable changes in shower temps . Insufficient towels in the room but easily fixed upon request during business hours.

Liked: The property is beautiful. The reception is beautifully decorated with vintage furniture. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast muffins and coffee were really good.
Disliked: The room felt a bit small. The shower feels old, and suddenly the water becomes too hot. Ac made noise and didn't cool the room much.
