Liked: Comfortable hotel; good food (breakfast & dinner); good service in restaurant; location.
Disliked: Age restriction on use of the swimming pool and spa. Surely it should be the parents responsibility to look after their (13 year old) child. Very frustrating that we couldn't use the pool when this was a primary reason for booking the hotel. Other less important 'negative' - the room was far too warm and it was not possible to open the window very far. Clearly a hotel with a strong focus on health and safety .....

Liked: Food was exceptional. Scenery was stunning.
Disliked: No way is the hotel a 4 star hotel and the price was too expensive. No valet so you had to walk up 2 flights of stairs with your heavy luggage. It was like a maze to get to the breakfast room. No lifts. Everything was an extra charge.

Liked: Breakfast was very nice . Liked that we were served breakfast and not a buffet thus time
Disliked: Didn't like that we only had 2hours at the pool and spa facilities feel as hotel guests we should have more time. The outside sauna was out of order. Stayed at the hotel for 2 nites so we went to the spa twice one on the Sunday and once on the Monday . The hot tub and pool were both very cold. Abit disappointed this time . Although the transformation of spa area was very nice. A shout out to the staff at the bar and restaurant. Couldn't do enough for us and they all work really hard and were rushed off their feet the whole time.

Good room with excellent facilities...

Liked: The room was of good size with good facilities . The views from the restaurant are amazing and both evening meal and breakfast were of a high standard. All staff are friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: nothing

Charming countryside hotel with unfreindly...

Liked: The hotel is very quiet and staff (exept bartender) is very helpful. We arrived at midnight but were met warmly with full attention to our needs.
Disliked: The bartender refused to serve us at the bar, even though there were still people seated in the room. We only asked for one drink before going to sleep, so it was unexpected and unfortunately diminished our initial very positive impression of the hotel and staff. The breakfast was good, though it felt slightly overpriced.
