Loverly but added prices spoil...

Liked: Location , facilities on offer
Disliked: The extra cost of using spar and golf course .. eg the main reasons for going, are then priced so high it’s a real struggle to warrant using them , seemingly very little ‘discount’ for being a hotel guest WiFi is complicated and drops out , no reason for it , just have normal WiFi that stays connected and does not require logging in

Massively overpriced for what you...

Liked: Close to the M8; room fine; evening dinner and breakfast very good.
Disliked: Reception very slow; signage needs a rethink as getting around was a hoot; extremely poor for people with limited mobility; having to pay extra £50 for two people to use the pool and spa for max. two hours was bizarre.

Sadly disappointing

Liked: Room was clean although far too hot.
Disliked: Having stayed previously and enjoyed full use of the spa facilities and also during renovations when the price reflected the lack of Spa, we were shocked to discover upon check-in that we had to pay 25 pounds per person for a two hour slot at totally inconvenient times for us. This was not ever mentioned when we booked and fully pre paid in May either by the hotel or Bookings.com. We expressed our disappointment at both check-in and check-out but all we got told was that this was now the new policy. A very bad one in our opinion that will deter us from staying again in spite of its convenience to family visits. Also, the numerous advance emails asking us to bid for an upgrade is both insulting and unnecessary. Gleddoch was always a luxury hotel, not a game show.Sincerely,Douglas M Stanfield FHCIMA

Liked: Situation is lovely. Bed was comfy. Spa is gorgeous.
Disliked: The bathroom tiles were splattered with toothpaste. And shower didn't work properly.

Great stay - despite a...

Liked: Food in the hotel is very good, as were the staff.Great location for a trip into Glasgow by train, a game of Golf or just a relaxing couple of days
Disliked: We had an issue with cleanliness in the room , despite an initial complaint to reception the house keeping team did noit remediate the issue, in fact we had to clean the dust ourselves ( the dust was all over the skirting boards at the side and behind the bed, and was quite considerable)
