Liked: staff, location, price per night
Disliked: a lamp was not working, a bit noisy in the morning cars with alarm, artificial light shines through the shade

Old hotel refreshed recently but...
Liked: Hardwood floors which is a good thing for cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. If they spent a little money having the electrical upgraded it could be nice.
Disliked: This is a very old hotel that has been in the area for decades. It has been refreshed but not professionally. The electrical was very poor, there were power strips with every plug filled and the cords overly stretched to the point of starting to pull out. This can be a hazard. Other than that it was ok.

Liked: The staff tried hard to welcome but it was hard to make up for the tired building. It felt like more of a dive than it actually was
Disliked: Very dilapidated, and oppressive building, not a comfortable place to stay.

Liked: Cost, in comparison with other properties in the area (very pricey!)
Disliked: Heater in room did not work. It was cold! Thin blanket. Very basic room with uneven floors.

If you have to stay...
Liked: Very large room with plenty of space also in the bathroom.
Disliked: A bit run down: has become a permanent residence in the terrible Silicon Valley housing crisis. On a loud street, but tolerable.
