Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel

Hotel is up to a decent standard; not too far from city centre with a regular bus route outside. Plenty of shop and restaurants nearby as well and opposite the Botanic Gardens.

Liked: Decent standard of hotel; nice room. Good, firm bed.
Disliked: A section of marble panel on the front steps had come loose and was just lying there on a step. By day 3, it was lying at an angle against the bottom step. Could have represented a fall or trip hazard in what was firstly icy, then rainy weather. Just thought it strange that staff didn't at least remove this loose bit over the days.

Bedroom

Liked: Staff were lovely
Disliked: Room had cobwebs hanging from the roof and lots of red stains on the carpet in the bedroom. Only one cup for a double room.

Pleasant

Liked: The food in the restaurant was of very good quality. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: We were travelling with our son. Before arriving, we had made a few requests, which were confirmed to be in place or organised. Upon arrival, this was not the case. Travelling with a young baby is stressful enough, we didnt need this additional hassle.
