Hotel is up to a decent standard; not too far from city centre with a regular bus route outside. Plenty of shop and restaurants nearby as well and opposite the Botanic Gardens.

Liked: Decent standard of hotel; nice room. Good, firm bed.
Disliked: A section of marble panel on the front steps had come loose and was just lying there on a step. By day 3, it was lying at an angle against the bottom step. Could have represented a fall or trip hazard in what was firstly icy, then rainy weather. Just thought it strange that staff didn't at least remove this loose bit over the days.

My stay here was terrible,...

Liked: Breakfast was very poor over cooked and little on offer juice was also warm.
Disliked: Room was terrible, very warm bed was really uncomfortable and hard.

I thought that we were...

Liked: Location was perfect, quick check out.
Disliked: Booking in could have been faster. Room wasn't ready and on arrival tea tray was only supplied for one person. Male staff a little off putting/unhelpful. Asked for walk in shower but had a bath with shower in it, not suitable for our needs so only washed at sink ☹️

Not perfect, but very nicely...

Liked: This is in the heart of the loveliest part of Glasgow. Stunning restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Fridge in the room was nice and cold.
Disliked: The plug sockets either side of the bed had been covered with metal plates. Understaffed on reception. Car park confusingly still branded as The Hilton - so I spent ages driving around looking for the it - when I parked in it, the access and levels are very tight for large modern cars, but it’s doable with confidence!
