Have always enjoyed staying here...
Liked: Close to a lot of Sydney tourist spots
Disliked: We had a balcony room above bar, room has not been renovated since we started staying here years ago. The bathroom was mouldy with broken tiles.

Great Location with a comfy...
Liked: The key elements that I would flag to travellers that worked really well at this hotel are the below: - The bed was very comfortable, and it was two king singles pushed together that made it almost the size of a king bed. The pillows as well were pretty decent too, with some soft ones and some firm ones.- If you have an event at the ICC - this location is perfect. You just walk across from the hotel down towards the ICC, and there is an elevator about 200m from the hotel that gets you to the back of the ICC as well as to a really lovely food hub with heaps of food options. It was very convenient and easy to get to. - The heater/aircon took some time to work out (you have to change it to different modes to adjust the temperature) but once we did, the room remained very cosy temperature wise.- Despite being 15m2 (which is relatively small for hotel terms), there was definately enough size for 2 people, and a nice big wardrobe to put belongings in. The shower was also quite roomy, and the temperature was HOT and got hot quickly. - There is a simple breakfast supplies in the middle of the facilities that has cereals, tea and coffee, bread and condiments, and biscuits. We took advantage of this throughout our stay. - The pictures online for this room are accurate to exactly how it looks IRL.
Disliked: There are a few elements that I feel are important for people to know before staying here. There are ways to circumvent these elements, but if you don't know about them, it could throw you and you would have a poor experience. - You are staying above a pub. This means that it is LOUD, all the way until 12pm weeknights and 3am on weekends, with music that travels up to your room from the pub. We sleep with Loops (noise cancelling ear buds), so we were able to minimise this so that it didn't overly bother us, but if you don't have a decent pair of ear buds, this will drive you mental.- The hotel has all of the lights that shine onto the hotel to make it look really pretty and nice in the evenings from the outside. The problem is, is that in our room (room 4) one of these lights shone DIRECTLY into our bedroom window. There are blackout curtains over the wooden awnings, but when you have a harsh light blasting directly into your window, no amount of coverings is going to stop your room from not becoming fully dark. If you need full darkness to sleep, this will also do your head in if you don't bring an eye mask. - The bed sheets are VERY basic. They don't use fitted sheets or doona covers (they just have a sheet that sits on the bottom, and two sheets sitting between the doona cover. Some people may get the ick from this. - Also, you are staying at a pub, so you aren't going to be getting the same kind of room service that you would get in a fancier hotel, you don't have 24hr reception, or things like that. If you are aware of this before you go, then it will temper your expectations.

Liked: Thr location was excellent, about 10 minutes from my venue, the international convention centre.
Disliked: Could have been a little cleaner, I also needed to buy a set of cutlery for myself
