Liked: Lovely hotel in a beautiful location, probably the best we stayed in on our 10-day holiday cycling around Funen. There was a large conference at the hotel the evening we stayed, which meant the restaurant was busy & noisy. But we were allowed to eat dinner outside on the patio with splendid views. An excellent meal too and the chef's bread was delicious.
Disliked: The breakfast didn't quite meet the very high standards of the previous night's dinner: there was no fruit available or Danish pastries - most unusual for a Danish hotel.

Beautiful location but terrible sound...

Liked: The location, nature and main building are exceptional. Staff are really friendly.
Disliked: The room was terrible. You could hear every sound from the neighboring rooms. As if the guests in those rooms were in your room. Breakfast was really small with no hot food and very little to choose from. Check out is at 10 which is really bad if you are there for a getaway. Who wakes up, eats breakfast and checks out at 10 am a Saturday or Sunday?

Liked: Great hotel, beautifully located in nature at sea and hotel garden/park, had very nice diner on one evening, and breakfast very nice too. We rented bikes there to cycle to the lighthouse on Helnæs, beautiful island nature with typical Danish houses
