Staff were very friendly and happy to help. The hotel is in a good situation, close to the station and Hull City Hall.

Liked: the room was very clean and big and the location was first class 2 minutes from town center everything about my holiday there was fantastic and booking again for next year

Grubby Appearance

Liked: Proximity to station. Room size. Had a lift.
Disliked: Grubby appearance. Shower was only a trickle.Looked much nicer on internet than in real life.People sitting on pavement drinking outside entrance gave place an undesirable feeling.

Liked: Close to where we needed to be. Clean rooms.
Disliked: Very noisy from pub below. No aircon and unable to open window due to noise was like a hot box, in the morning we were soaked with sweat before we left. Hairdryer smoked when attempted to use. When using iron electric kept switching off.

Disliked: I late after check in time which nodidn't like this has I arrived 30mins fault of mine, I wasn't allowed to stay there even though I had already paid for the room for 1 night and didn't even get a refund so this hotel got paid for room for night which I didn't even see

This hotel is reasonably priced...

Liked: Location ideal and staff were kind and helpful. This hotel has great potential because of its location right in the centre of town and next to the train and bus stations.
Disliked: The hotel is badly in need of an update. Decor and fittings are very worn and damaged in places. I arrived on a hot day and the room was like an oven. There was no air conditioning and the fan provided in the room did not work. The windows had restricted opening which is normal in hotel rooms but one of the two windows would barely open a crack. Although the bed was comfortable and I slept well, I woke up in a pool of sweat.
