Liked: The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The common areas were really comfortable, well thought out usage of a restored and converted house.
Disliked: There was an area for pool outside our room. Thank goodness no one played while we were there or else the noise would be bad.

The Gilded: Vibrant and Energizing

Liked: Very beautiful property. Very vibrant and colorful. My room was upgraded due to it being the end of the season and low occupancy. The property is in walking distance to the Wharfs and their downtown areas. The Gilded has a sister property that gives you parking access to walk Cliffside which was beautiful that early in the morning.
Disliked: The breakfast. While breakfast was made to order given the low occupancy, I think a continental style breakfast would go a long way because it minimizes the amount of cooking the staff has to do and it provides a bit more variety for breakfast.

Liked: Everything. Beautiful little hotel. Gorgeous interior. Perfectly appointed room. Quiet. Cozy. Excellent small plate breakfast. Would definitely recommend and go back!!

Liked: We were staying on the main floor and had a little sitting room. We brought our breakfast every morning back to the room which was great. We stayed for 3 breakfast so there was a good variety over the stay. It was also a nice touch that there were cookies to grab throughout the day.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have a little kettle or coffee machine in the room. A mini fridge would be a bonus too.
