Lovely hotel, great staff, wonderful...

Liked: We loved the conversion of this old property into an Inn. The location was excellent- close enough to the waterfront without being right on top of it and close to the local neighborhoods where there were less tourists. The outdoor sitting area was nice as well.
Disliked: The bathroom and shower are small and the breakfast was cold :(

Liked: Well located. Nice multiple lounge areas , especially outside!!Great location.
Disliked: There was no space to hang clothes or to organize belongings. One spot to hang a jacket but no closet or hangers. Compared to other places, the attitude could be a bit more upbeat.

Ok, but too many nicer...

Liked: The bed was very comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water, wifi worked well, location was ok. Pretty quiet other than crying baby from time to time next door.
Disliked: If you’re searching for an old eclectic B&B where you’re on your own/not bothered this might fit the bill. We arrived at night and it was pitch black. Not enough parking for guests and needed to park on the narrow street during our stay. No motion detector lights at either door- needed to use one flashlights to enter. Ok location but we’d probably pick a place closer to Thames street next time- so many quaint hotels to choose from esp at the price point!One staff member was at the front desk during the day- answered questions when asked but otherwise not welcoming, didn’t inquire about our stay. No information in our room or public areas about local attractions or restaurants, no maps. Breakfast 8-10am had several tiny choices that were “gourmet” style - in tiny cups or on 2inx2in plates ex.: overnight oats, egg soufflé, cottage cheese, chai pudding (not good), hard boiled egg, muffins and savory bread were dry. No meat. Tea, coffee, and OJ were good. Breakfast tables were all small 2 tops- definitely a place for couples or travelers with 2 people, not larger parties. We ended up eating out for a heartier brunch.
