Lovely but expensive stay.

Liked: Beautiful setting and facility. Dinner was lovely at the hotel.
Disliked: Pictures on website are a bit decieving- the room we had was not as large as those pictured- For the price, should have had bigger room. No breakfast on a Sunday- until brunch in restaurant- should offer coffee in lobby and perhaps a bite, like during the week.

Liked: Breakfast at the hotel was unavailable since it was a weekend. We were only a short walk away from a great breakfast. Parking was great! A small fee but no fighting to find a spot. Our Coffee maker was not working in the room, We had a similar machine at home so we know they can be great when they work but sometimes they just don't. Over all we enjoyed the stay,

Not worth the money

Liked: The room was clean and it had a little view of the river from the side. I booked the most expensive single room they had. They only have 12 rooms.
Disliked: The breakfast was terrible - bread and bagel, warm coffee, just a couple of pastries. Cerial was very fattening and designed for kids. The only drinks were orange juice and coffee. The shower was large but poorly designed. No shower wand. Drained poorly and leaked into the bathroom. Limited toiletries. Thermostat was difficult to use. I went there in late March. It was cold, which I liked but half or more of the stores were closed, so not much to do. The play theater was closed as well. The hotel restaurant was closed on Monday, the day we arrived, but open on Tuesday. We had dinner there. It was very expensive and not much choices. I ordered Scallops for $41 and was given 3. Parking is everywhere but ALL parking in the downtown area requires money. The hotel charged $20 per night for parking in front o the hotel - Normally $30 but it was off season.
