As expected! not disappointed! well...

Liked: The breakfast was very good [poached eggs perfect.] Because we took the time to read all about the hotel before booking it was as we had expected. It was very quirky and a bit battered around the edges as you would expect from a 250 year old property! The bed linen was beautiful, soft and snow white as were the towels[ excellent quality]The staff were great very helpful and friendly and the facilities very good. The food was excellent and the menu very good .We would certainly choose to stay again.
Disliked: Could have done with better a wardrobe and the bathroom lacked some shelf space.

Very friendly, great location lovely...

Liked: I was on a course at the university and the hotel was literallhy a 2 minute walk, which was perfect. The staff were absolutely lovey. My room was upgraded from a single to a beautiful room with 4 poster. It went from a trip for a course to a lovely break away!

Perfect for my needs, private...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful! The room was spacious and amazing value for money. The place is conveniently located close to the city centre without having to deal with the noise.
Disliked: With it being an old building the room got very warm, but to have the window open the entire street would be able to see me. The mattress and bedding were not the most comfortable to sleep on/in.

Would I stay again? Probably...

Liked: The lady who handled the check in was excellent, happy and efficient.
Disliked: I had to ask for toilet paper as non had been put in the bathroom. The shower had very little power and the toilet made a rather strange loud noise when flushed.

Liked: Very nice property at a very nice location, staff were very friendly and the decor was pretty old school and cool
Disliked: There was shouting guests at night (around midnight) arguing with staff and I believe the police turned up. Not a very nice experience and also no tv control in the room, one was requested but I never got it.
