Spoilt by nobody present at...

Liked: The location , close to the CBD is fine , breakfasr=t is fine . The room was basic but value for money . We were admitted by staff after trying to release the key 40 minutes after a desperate phone call .
Disliked: Nobody in reception at 4.00 pm , the instructions to release the key are insane and spoil the whole stay . Please revise the keying directions to expedite entry .

Liked: Only 20 minutes walk to John Cain Arena or MCG. Very quiet. Cooked breakfast very welcome next morning.

Comfortable and reasonable price

Liked: The breakfast was plentiful and filling.Our bed was comfy.Room had a heat pump and spare blankets so we were toasty warm.I liked the spare tea/milk/coffee/towels/toilet rolls etc in the hallway.Great to have off street parking.
Disliked: We had trouble checking in, door locked and phone number on the door unanswered. We only got in because another tenant let us in and then called someone on the staff for us. Initially we were shown to a room that was used, not cleaned and made up.Some of the floors are loose and move when you walk on them. The hotel is very close to the train line, and we could hear the trains in the evening, and again in the morning. The breakfast room was chilly, and the warmer tray under the hot items didn't seem to be working. Some adult choice of cereals (meusli) would be nice.

Great will use the accommodation...

Liked: Breakfast commenced at 8am but was not fully available when I left at 8.30am. Room was excellent except the glass plate in microwave needs a clean. Excellent location, able to walk to my function. Great communication when office not open on arrival to be able to access token to front door & room.
Disliked: Staff not available on departure as would have been able to communicate the issues above. Only time I saw staff on this visit was in the kitchen cooking the breakfast.
